REAL WEDDING: Dayna & Tui
Dayna & Tui were married in front of their children, loved ones and friends on 21st of December at Yoothamurra Homestead in Oakford.
The day kicked off with a beautiful ceremony with florals by Blooming Besties and officiated by Robert Cross who included plenty of their cultural traditions and it was so nice to see family tune in on live stream from across the ditch!
Dayna is a school teacher and invited her class to come and see the ceremony which was soo cute, they lined up at the end of the aisle to throw confetti.
Guests shortly after headed over to pre dinner drinks where Caravan and Tonic were on bar duties, serving up a great selection of local wines, bubbles as well as apple cider and beers. There was also a speciality cocktail keg for the girls to enjoy.
Drinks supplier was the Freo Docter Sultan Pepper (if you know you know ;)) provided a delicious sit down shared banquet including smoked brisket, grilled barramundi and honey soy chicken. The reception space was decorated by Tash included a few touches such as floating candles with foliage arrangements, sage linen napkins and a stunning 4metre fresh arrangement behind the bridal table.
Envy Event Group kept the vibes high all night so the dancefloor saw plenty of feet right until the end.
There’s nothing we love more than when a couple add their own touches to make the day truly theirs..
Groom Tui is so proud of his culture and this was shown with the beautiful touches throughout the day.
From the traditional kakahu (Moari Cloak) to the prayers in Moari from groomsmen and finally the almighty Haka.This Haka was so powerful and had everyone in complete aura – We get Goosebumps just thinking about it!
